Porter Wright announces firmwide leadership appointments

Porter Wright is proud to announce a series of firmwide leadership appointments that mark an exciting new chapter for the firm. These appointments reflect the extraordinary depth of talent within our ranks and our confidence in the next generation of leaders who will shape Porter Wright's future. Each newly appointed leader brings fresh energy, experience and a shared vision for growth.

Andy Bojko is now serving as practice group leader of the firm’s Banking and Finance Practice. He advises lenders, administrative agents and borrowers in matters involving middle-market debt financings, broadly syndicated debt financings, asset-based lending, mezzanine debt and acquisition financings. Andy also handles a variety of real estate matters, with a particular emphasis on construction and permanent loans, leasing, and acquisitions and divestitures. 

Andy was named Columbus, Ohio’s “Lawyer of the Year” in 2021 and 2023 by The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Commercial Finance Law. Additionally, he has been recognized as one of America's Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers USA in the area of Banking & Finance, by The Best Lawyers in America® and by Ohio Super Lawyers, Rising Stars Edition. 

Kristen Del Sole has been appointed partner-in-charge of the Pittsburgh office and brings more than 25 years of experience in litigation. Since 2023, she served as co-chair with John McIntyre. Kristen focuses her practice on litigation matters involving trusts and estates and serves as counsel for nonprofits, corporate fiduciaries and individual trustees and executors. Kristen has extensive experience in will contests, estate settlements, estate litigation, trust disputes, accountings, guardianship proceedings and powers of attorney disputes. In these matters, Kristen has successfully litigated at the trial and appellate court levels. 

She previously served by appointment on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Civil Rules Committee and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Orphans' Court Rules Committee. 

Laura Jurcevich has assumed the role of practice group leader for the firm’s Immigration Practice. She helps her clients maneuver through immigration challenges with a track record for success in securing the ability to remain in the United States, both temporarily and permanently. 

Laura represents colleges, universities, hospitals and their employees, in H-1B, TN and L-1A nonimmigrant petitions, E-3 visa applications, outstanding professor and researcher petitions, national interest waiver petitions, J-1 foreign residency requirement waivers, LCAs and LCA appeals. 

Jordan Sigale has taken over as leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice. He concentrates his practice in intellectual property, computer and patent law with a focus on patent and trade secret litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Jordan combines his litigation experience with deep knowledge of U.S. and international patent prosecution, handling a wide range of technical fields, including chemical, electrical, mechanical and computer-related inventions. He has experience in IP licensing transactions and prepares and prosecutes patents across different industries, such as electronics, medical devices, cosmetics and consumer goods. He has also handled confidential arbitration matters before both AAA and JAMS. 

Ryan Steele is the new practice group leader for the Biotech and Emerging Business Practice Groups. He handles corporate contractual matters to bring mergers, acquisitions, financing, energy and natural resources deals, startup operations and other general business transactions to fruition.

Having managed an office of over 100 employees and contractors, Ryan applies first-hand knowledge of daily business functions, including project management, employee management, and independent contracting, in providing practical counsel to fast-growing entities so they can overcome challenges and achieve their business goals.

Jeremy Siegfried has been named practice group leader for the Corporate Securities Practice. He represents public and private companies in structuring and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, strategic alliances and joint ventures. Jeremy also provides guidance on public offerings of securities, PIPEs, shelf registration statements, private placements of securities, corporate governance and executive compensation. 

Public clients often seek Jeremy’s assistance on matters involving corporate governance under NYSE, NASDAQ, and NYSE American listing standards, securities law compliance, 1934 Act reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. 

Megan West has been named practice group leader for the firm’s M&A practice. She advises public and private companies in structuring, negotiating and drafting mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions on both the buy and sell side, as well as joint ventures and other business transactions. 

While maintaining her practice at the firm, Megan previously served as an adjunct professor for the Transactional Practice course at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. In this role, she instructed students on the acquisition process, from the letter of intent stage through closing and periodically met with and advised students on general transactional drafting issues and key M&A concepts.
