We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Porter Wright has an opportunity for a Litigation Associate in the Columbus, Ohio office.
Qualifications include:
- Two to six years of experience in complex commercial litigation, product liability or personal injury litigation
- Strong research and writing skills
- Trial experience is a bonus but not required
- Must be admitted to the practice of law in the state of Ohio
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes:

- Willingness to collaborate and work on teams
- Experience to independently draft pleadings, motion papers, discovery requests, settlement agreements and other standard documents

- Ability to engage in internal and external relationship building

Porter Wright has an opportunity for an Intellectual Property Associate in any of our nine offices (Chicago, IL; Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati or Dayton, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Washington, DC; Tampa or Naples, FL).
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Patent preparation and prosecution in chemical and mechanical arts
- Design patent preparation and prosecution
- Trademark preparation and prosecution, including inter parte action
- IP due diligence in mergers and acquisitions
- IP litigation support
- IP licensing
Qualifications include:
- Two to five years of experience in intellectual property
- Strong research and writing skills
- JD from an accredited law school
