Tax-exempt and governmental employers
We work with a variety of tax-exempt and governmental organizations in a broad range of retirement and welfare benefit plan issues. Our attorneys assist nonprofit organizations, public and private universities, governmental entities and public retirement systems with planning, drafting and consulting services that focus on their unique benefits needs.
In addition, we help tax-exempt and governmental employers with the design and establishment of compensation agreements for their executives, including tax-deferred vehicles such as eligible and ineligible 457 plans.
We also have extensive experience in working with 403(b) plans and programs and assist our tax-exempt and university clients with plan document drafting, compliance and contract negotiations with vendors. Our attorneys also guide our clients through the maze of governmental self-correction programs, such as EPCRS, VCP, VFC and DFVC.
