Women in Reinsurance

For nearly 20 years, the Women in Reinsurance (WIR) program has provided an authentic and trustworthy space for women in the reinsurance industry to gather, network and cultivate lasting connections. Porter Wright is proud to host the annual WIR forum to unite influential women in the field and empower them with opportunities to share, debate, learn and grow together. As the number of women in reinsurance continues to rise, it’s essential that these leaders work to support and amplify each other’s ideas and success.

The WIR forum, founded in 2004 by attorney Teresa Snider and her colleagues, is hosted on the eve of the Fall ARIAS-U.S. Conference. The event provides women with tools for advancing within their organizations and on arbitration panels.

The paths to success in the reinsurance industry are many and varied. We are proud to share this collection of inspiring stories, unique career paths, successes, challenges and insights told by women in reinsurance and insurance.
