Porter Wright names six new partners

Porter Wright is pleased to announce six attorneys have been elected to partnership in the firm: David Belczyk, John Carney, Eric Gallon, Darcy Jalandoni, Rebecca Kopp Levine and Aaron Shank.

About Belczyk

David Belczyk, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, is based in Pittsburgh. A mechanical engineer and former state prosecutor, David focuses his work in the areas of commercial litigation, construction, product liability and design, manufacture and supply disputes. David earned a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School.

About Carney

John Carney is a member of both the firm's Corporate Health Care group and Government and Regulatory Affairs team. John specializes in medical practice formation and acquisition, physician employment issues, contract review and preparation, fraud and abuse, Stark Law, Medicare and corporate compliance. John also serves as a ready resource for clients interested in advancing their business interests with local government officials, before the Ohio Statehouse and the U.S. Congress. John earned both his B.A. and his J.D. from The Ohio State University.

About Gallon

Eric Gallon is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department based in Columbus. He handles a variety of complex business and corporate litigation matters involving energy law, environmental law and consumer law. Eric earned his B.A. from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

About Jalandoni

Darcy Jalandoni, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, is based in Columbus. Darcy specializes in complex commercial litigation and in tort actions, with a focus on product liability. Darcy frequently brings her skills as a litigator to assist in pro bono matters. Darcy earned a B.A. from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

About Kopp Levine

Rebecca Kopp Levine is based in the firm’s Cleveland office and is a partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice. She focuses her practice on defending and managing workers’ compensation claims, including allegations of violations of specific safety rules and permanent total disability claims. Kopp Levine received her B.S. from Purdue University and her J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law.

About Shank

Aaron Shank, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, is based in Columbus. He concentrates his practice on wireless telecommunications, complex commercial disputes, e-discovery matters and litigation at all levels of Ohio courts and in federal district and appellate courts. Aaron earned a B.A. from Wittenberg University, an M.A. from Radford University and a J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.
