Columbus office grows with several new hires

Porter Wright is proud to announce several new attorneys have joined the firm’s Columbus office.

Michelle Wong-Halabi joined the firm in early June as a partner in the Corporate Department. She focuses her work on estate planning and administration, tax planning, and wealth transfer. In her sports practice, Michelle advises athletes and coaches at the collegiate and professional levels on the complex matters unique to the industry. Michelle earned her L.L.M. at the University of San Diego, J.D. at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, and her B.S. from California State University.

Tara Workman joined the Columbus office as a staff attorney in May. Tara concentrates her practice in real estate litigation, eminent domain and complex litigation and is pursuing her real estate licensure in Ohio. She earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and her B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Gerhard Schulte is a new associate in the Columbus office. Gary advises clients on all aspects of tax planning related to their business concerns including formation, operation, acquisition and disposition of businesses. He earned his L.L.M. at Northwestern University School of Law, J.D. at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and his B.S. from Miami University.

Porter Wright recently expanded in 2019 to its eighth office in Chicago and now has more than 200 attorneys working with clients worldwide.
