Porter Wright’s Dayton office welcomed new partner Terry Posey, Jr. today. Terry brings experience handling all aspects of complex commercial litigation, navigating issues arising from financial services disputes. He is also well versed in advising clients with regard to labor and regulatory disputes, general commercial disputes, trust and fiduciary litigation, business torts and intellectual property disputes. Terry is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in appellate law.

Terry counsels clients in a number of transactional contexts and has acted as outside general counsel for a number of small businesses, counseling them on best practices and risk avoidance as they navigate growth strategies. Terry is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Ohio Appellate Law Specialist. He is only one of 27 statewide and the only attorney in Montgomery County to have earned this distinguished certification.

Terry earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law cum laude and his B.A. from the University of Virginia. He was honored in 2021 by Ohio Super Lawyers® in the areas of appellate and business litigation. Terry serves on a number of committees for the Ohio State Bar Association, Dayton Bar Association and Dayton Bar Association Inn of Court.
