Teresa Snider was honored with one of Corporate Counsel’s National Women in Law Awards at an awards dinner on Oct. 3, 2018 as part of their Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference in Washington, D.C. These prestigious awards recognize women across North America who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and business savvy to achieve success for their organizations or law firms. Recognized for her thought leadership, Snider spoke with Corporate Counsel and shared insights into her journey from law school to where she is today. 

Snider explained that gaining a deeper understanding of her clients’ industries has given her a more comprehensive perspective of the economics of transactions in disputes. Broader industry knowledge means that she can better collate facts and develop arguments to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

When asked about advice on leadership, she replied, “do what you believe is right and in the best interests of your constituency, whether it be your law firm, your partners, your team, or your client.”
