Porter Wright welcomes two new associates to Columbus

Porter Wright is proud to announce two new associates have joined the firm after passing the bar exam in Ohio.

Daniel LaHue joins the firm’s Litigation Department, bringing experience from his time as a summer associate with Porter Wright, where he supported complex litigation matters. His work included legal research and drafting memoranda on issues such as the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act as well as assisting with trial preparation. During law school, Daniel served as a research assistant for the Georgetown Law Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure, analyzing federal appellate decisions nationwide. He also interned with the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, contributing to legal publications and research on Social Security disability law. He is also barred in Indiana. Daniel earned his JD from Georgetown Law School and his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.

Aamer Aamer joins the Corporate Department, where he focuses on corporate and private equity matters. As a former summer associate with the firm, he supported corporate teams by analyzing complex limited partnership agreements, advising on voting procedures and drafting written consent documents for private equity funds. He also previously served as a research assistant at the University of Virginia School of Law, where he contributed to scholarship on fundamental rights and due process. Aamer earned his JD from Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from George Mason University.
