Porter Wright welcomes Kim Lopater to growing Tampa team
Porter Wright is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Kimberly Lopater to the firm’s Tampa office. Kim is a litigation associate and will work on insurance brokerage and insurance intermediary matters. Kim brings experience representing insurance companies and their insureds at both the trial and appellate levels in a variety of areas.
“We are pleased to add Kim to our growing team,” shared Lawrence Ingram, partner-in-charge of Porter Wright’s Tampa office. “Her background and experience will enhance the representation of our insurance industry clients.”
Kim is an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and its Wills for Heroes program for which she provides pro bono legal service. She is a Leadership Academy Fellow for the Hillsborough County Association for Women Lawyers and a member of The Florida Bar. Kim also serves as a board member for Diversity Access Pipeline, Inc.’s Journey to Esquire scholarship program.
In her community, Kim is a volunteer for the Florida Statewide Guardian Ad Litem Office Defending Best Interests Project and an advance guard member of the Wounded Warrior Project. She received her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and her B.S. from Florida State University.
