Porter Wright welcomes four new associates to Columbus

Porter Wright is proud to announce that four new associates have joined the firm after passing the bar exam in Ohio.

Chance Conaway is a new member in the Labor and Employment Department. He previously served as a summer associate with the firm, where he gained hands-on experience researching and preparing legal memoranda across a range of matters. Chance earned his J.D. from Capital University Law School and his B.A. from Capital University

Eamon Duff joins the Corporate Department, serving clients in mergers and acquisitions and securities and real estate matters. While at the University of Michigan Law School, Eamon served in the Community Enterprise Clinic, where he counseled small businesses and entrepreneurs on a range of legal matters. Before earning his J.D., he earned his B.A. from University of Michigan.

Rose Lekan contributes to the firm’s Litigation Department with a strong foundation in legal research, writing and case preparation. She previously served as a summer associate at Porter Wright and as a municipal unit law clerk at the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office. At the Public Defender’s Office, she assisted attorneys with legal research, court filings and client intake, including income qualification assessments. Rose earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her B.S. from Muskingum University.

Dominic Velasquez joins the Corporate Department, where he focuses his practice on intellectual property and corporate law. Dominic gained valuable experience as a summer associate at Porter Wright, conducting patentability searches for a diverse client base, drafting litigation memoranda and contributing to several corporate law projects. He earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and his B.A. from The Ohio State University.
