Dominic is an associate in the Corporate Department, where his practice focuses on intellectual property and corporate law.

As a registered patent attorney with a degree in chemistry, Dominic leverages his technical training to assist clients with a broad range of intellectual property matters across diverse industries. His patent prosecution experience spans technologies involving chemistry, biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceutical formulations, and consumer products, including footwear compositions and designs. His trademark practice includes trademark clearance, prosecution, and portfolio management.

Dominic also advises clients on intellectual property issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. In this capacity, he conducts intellectual property due diligence and drafts and negotiates a variety of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, and assignment agreements for the transfer of intellectual property assets.  

In addition to his intellectual property practice, Dominic devotes a portion of his practice to general corporate matters, including commercial transactions, contract review and negotiation, and due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Porter Wright, he further deepened his IP experience at a boutique IP firm, where he drafted patent claims, conducted in-depth research on patent prosecution strategies and explored litigation tactics within the intellectual property space.
