Porter Wright welcomes Chip Erb to Cleveland office
Porter Wright is pleased to announce that attorney L. William “Chip” Erb has joined the firm’s Cleveland office. Chip will serve clients as a member of the firm’s Banking & Finance team.
“It’s great to have Chip back at Porter Wright,” shared Tracey Turnbull, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Cleveland office. “He spent seven years with us after law school and is returning with incredible legal experience to best serve our banking and commercial lending clients throughout the region.”
Chip has more than 30 years of experience working in the financial industry as both a lawyer and a banking executive. He represents financial institutions in commercial lending, loan restructuring and workout, and all types of loan documentation matters.
He is a fellow of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, member of the Ohio Bar Association and member of The Union Club of Cleveland. Chip received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, summa cum laude, his M.B.A. with distinction from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management and his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College.
