Porter Wright is proud to announce that partner Jill Okun will serve as co-chair of the firm’s Product Liability Practice Group. Jill will serve in her new role alongside partner Elizabeth Moyo.

“Our product liability practice has expanded to include more complex litigation, and it’s the perfect time to take advantage of Jill’s leadership and experience by adding her as co-chair of our practice,” shared Moyo. “Jill brings significant experience defending product manufacturers across the country, and I look forward to working alongside her to continue to grow and develop our team.”

Jill’s background includes four decades of representing clients in product liability matters, often within the automotive industry. She has defended and managed the occupant safety product liability litigation throughout the U.S. for a leading global automotive system supplier. Jill also served as national coordinating counsel for a client in defense of trailer product liability suits. She also has extensive experience working with clients on matters in the areas of commercial litigation, class actions, toxic tort, arbitration and health care.

Within the legal profession, Jill is active in the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC), Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Judicial Candidate’s Rating Coalition, American Inn of Courts and the American Arbitration Association.
