Jim is an associate in the Corporate Department in the area of corporate employment benefits. He focuses on labor and employment, regulatory compliance and ERISA law.

Prior to joining the firm, Jim served as a legal extern for Justice Sharon Kennedy. His legal background is further enriched by his several years in the financial and retirement field, participating in courses at the American College of Financial Services, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Life Office Management Association. Jim became a licensed Life Insurance Agent in 2019 and holds several certifications such as, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Certified Financial Professional, Series 6, Series 63, Series 65 and more.

Jim served as a team leader, squad leader and platoon leader in the Ohio Army National Guard.
