Jim is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department serving clients in the area of employee benefits. He focuses his practice on labor and employment, securities, regulatory compliance and ERISA law with respect to employee benefit plans.

Prior to joining the firm, Jim served as a legal extern for Justice Sharon Kennedy. His legal background is further enriched by nearly a decade in employee benefits, financial services and retirement planning, participating in courses at the American College of Financial Services and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Jim holds several certifications, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) Series 6, Series 63, Series 65 licenses and more.

Prior to law school, Jim served in the U.S. Military as a Sergeant in the Ohio Army National Guard.
