Porter Wright continues rapid growth in Pittsburgh with three new hires

Porter Wright’s growth in Pittsburgh continues with the announcement of three new attorneys over just two months. The hires bring additional skill to both the firm’s Corporate and Litigation Departments.

David E. Goldberg joined the firm in early April as a partner in the Corporate Department. Joining Porter Wright from the Pittsburgh office of Clark Hill, Goldberg focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters, general corporate transactions, and securities offerings. David earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.

Kevin C. Meacham began at Porter Wright in early May as Of Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department. Joining Porter Wright from the Pittsburgh office of Jones Day, Meacham represents commercial clients in litigation arising out of contractual disputes, environmental issues, governmental investigations, and industrial accidents. He has represented clients in numerous sectors, including the natural gas, coal, steel, chemical, telecommunications, and construction industries. Kevin earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Franklin & Marshall College.

David I. Kelch joined the firm in early May as a senior associate in the Litigation Department. David comes from K&L Gates’ Pittsburgh office and focuses his work on commercial litigation and internal investigations. He has represented clients in many industries including healthcare, energy, plastics, military construction, mortgage disputes, and durable medical equipment. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Penn State Law School and both a B.A. and an M.A. from West Virginia University.

“These recent additions to our team are both a great addition to our Corporate and Litigation groups,” said Tim Gallagher, partner-in-charge of the Pittsburgh office of Porter Wright. “They bring a variety of depth of knowledge and experience and will serve clients well.”

Since its opening in Pittsburgh in 2017, the recent hires bring the total number of attorneys based in the Pittsburgh office to 14 with additional growth projected. Porter Wright recently expanded in 2019 to its eighth office in Chicago and now has more than 200 attorneys working with clients worldwide.
