Porter Wright announces Kirby as new partner-in-charge of Dayton office

Porter Wright is proud to announce Tami Kirby as the new partner-in-charge of the Dayton office. Tami is chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice Group. She has substantial experience in creditors’ rights, real estate and commercial transactions, and assists a wide range of clients with their legal rights and remedies in state and federal courts.

While Walter Reynolds is stepping down as partner-in-charge, he remains an integral part of the firm and its continued growth. Walter will serve clients full time, representing brokerage firms, banks, insurance companies, savings and loan associations, and other financial institutions.

“Tami will do an excellent job continuing to grow our Dayton presence,” said Managing Partner Robert Tannous. "Under her leadership, we will continue to provide outstanding results for our clients, and I appreciate her willingness to take on this role in light of her very demanding legal practice and active role in the Dayton community.”

Tami has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers® since 2010 for her work in creditors’ rights and real estate, as well as by the Dayton Business Journal's Who's Who in Real Estate and Cincinnati’s Who’s Who in Real Estate Law.

Tami is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association and served as a member of the Thomas F. Waldron American Bankruptcy Law Forum Board of Trustees.

Tami is involved in the Dayton community, serving on the Board of Trustees for We Care Arts, Inc., the Advisory Board for Project READ and the Executive Committee for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Tami received a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati.
