Tony is a senior associate in the Litigation Department with a wealth of experience in civil trial advocacy and appellate practice. His litigation experience is diverse, encompassing commercial disputes, creditors’ rights, insurance and subrogation matters, labor and employment issues and regulatory concerns. While litigation is his main focus, he also provides counsel to clients on general corporate matters.

He has substantial experience in the insurance industry, including defending insurers and their insureds, pursuing affirmative subrogation claims and providing coverage opinions. He has also worked with companies in the financial, real estate, education and health care industries.

Tony’s practical experience also includes student clerkships in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, where he worked under Honorable Thomas M. Rose and Honorable Michael J. Newman. He also interned with NFL player agency, Five Star Athlete Management, gaining valuable insight into contract negotiation and client representation.

During law school, Tony served as a Staff Writer for the University of Dayton Law Review and competed in Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions.

Tony is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, The Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, the Defense Research Institute and the American Bankruptcy Law Forum. Prior to joining the firm, Tony served as a Staff Attorney for the Ohio Twelfth District Court of Appeals.
