Porter Wright's Chicago expansion featured in national publications
Porter Wright's expansion in Chicago was featured in several national publications.
"As Chicago competition accelerates, market undergoes more law firm consolidation," in Law.com, Andrew Maloney reporting:
Tannous’ firm announced a tie-up Wednesday with Chicago litigation boutique Scandaglia Law.
As part of that combination, Porter Wright gains four partners. It brings the firm, which originally entered Chicago via a 2019 merger with Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd, to 15 partners and 19 lawyers overall in the market.
“There’s been more opportunity. It’s probably one of the most competitive legal markets across the country that we’re seeing. And I don’t see that slowing down at all,” Tannous said.
Scandaglia Law, which works with businesses and executives across the hospitality, financial services, real estate, food services, and manufacturing industries, will close its doors after operating since 2001, partner Greg Scandaglia confirmed in the interview.
"Law firm disrupted: The mid-market is having its moment," in Law.com. Sarah Tincher-Numbers reporting:
Porter Wright Morris & Arthur expanded its offering in Chicago with the acquisition of a local litigation boutique.
