Overview

Rebecca is an associate in the Litigation Department with experience in federal litigation, discovery strategy and judicial research. She participates in all facets of discovery, including developing discovery strategy, drafting and responding to written discovery, organizing complex discovery records and participating in oral discovery by both taking and defending depositions. She has conducted legal research and authored persuasive memoranda and motions, including a successful motion to dismiss before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Previously, Rebecca served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas M. Parker, where she researched and drafted judicial opinions across a wide range of federal and state issues, including constitutional claims, post-conviction relief, admiralty matters, business torts, class actions and social security appeals.

During her clerkship, Rebecca played a key role in managing a six-day civil jury trial, handling research and drafting of pre-trial and post-trial orders related to bad faith and evidentiary issues, as well as preparing jury instructions and verdict forms.
