Porter Wright is pleased to welcome Nate Johnson as a corporate associate in the firm’s Columbus office. Nate focuses on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional tax matters, advising clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Prior to earning his law degree, Nate gained experience at a Big Four accounting firm where he advised corporate and private equity clients on tax structuring and modeling for buy-side and sell-side transactions and supported clients on M&A, carve-outs, restructurings, financing, dispositions and post-transaction matters.

Nate is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and Columbus Young Professionals. In addition to the state of Ohio, he is admitted to practice in Illinois and Nebraska, and U.S. Tax Court. Nate earned his LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law and his B.S.B.A., cum laude, from Oklahoma State University.
