Melissa is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, serving clients in real estate, banking and finance.

Her practice includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating real estate purchase agreements, commercial retail lease agreements and warehouse and industrial agreements. Melissa also handles amendments to lease agreements, real estate purchase agreements and letters of intent, ensuring that all terms align with client objectives and regulatory standards.

In addition to her transactional work, Melissa is well-versed in conducting thorough due diligence investigations, including title searches, zoning reviews, environmental assessments and lien searches. She performs detailed title and survey reviews and drafts and reviews key real estate documents including estoppel certificates and subordination non-disturbance and attornment (SNDA) agreements. Her experience also extends to reviewing and preparing legal documents for closings, including mortgages, title reports, liens, judgments and entity documents.

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa handled a broad range of commercial contracts, including SaaS, data protection and licensing agreements, while also advising on SEC compliance and regulatory matters. Melissa collaborates cross-functionally with business teams to streamline contract processes and to ensure legal compliance.
