Zachary Gross joins Litigation Department as senior associate
Porter Wright is pleased to announce that Zachary Gross has joined the firm as a senior associate in its Litigation Department. Zachary brings a dynamic blend of courtroom experience, strategic insight and a strong commitment to client advocacy.
Zachary represents both public sector and private companies in complex commercial disputes and is actively involved in all phases of litigation.
He works closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop tailored, effective case strategies. His practice includes conducting in-depth legal research, advising on critical legal issues, drafting pleadings and motions, managing written discovery, and negotiating and preparing settlement agreements and commercial contracts. He also has substantial experience preparing and taking depositions, helping to build strong, evidence-based cases.
A veteran of the United States Army, Zachary began his legal career in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he gained significant courtroom experience serving as both a federal prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. He continues to support veterans through ongoing pro bono advocacy, reflecting his deep commitment to service.
Following his military service, Zachary served as a law clerk to the Hon. Rodney Smith of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, further strengthening his litigation background and judicial insight.
Zachary earned his law degree with distinction, where he was inducted into the Woolsack Honor Society and served as a senior editor of the Penn State Law Review. He graduated with honors from Grove City College.
