Sara Schiavone added to two DRI Vice-Chair roles
Porter Wright announces that senior associate Sara Schiavone has been added to two new positions for DRI, Lawyers Representing Business.
In 2024, Sara will serve as Vice-Chair of Networking & Activities for the Young Lawyers (YL) Committee. This subcommittee coordinates and plans networking events and activities for young lawyers throughout the year, including at the annual YL seminar and the YL fly-in meeting. Sara also will serve as Vice-Chair of Webcasts for the Product Liability Substantive Law Committee. This is a two-year role that helps coordinate the Product Liability committee’s webinars and serves as a liaison to DRI regarding its programs.
Over the past six years, Sara has served DRI in eight other leadership roles. DRI members can join nearly 30 different substantive law committees whose focus is to develop ongoing and critical dialogue about areas of practice. DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. Membership in DRI provides access to resources and tools for attorneys who strive to provide high-quality, balanced, and excellent service to their clients and corporations.
