Romito achieves Certified Lobbyist designation
Porter Wright is proud to announce that Ronnie Romito, who serves as a regulatory and government affairs senior specialist on the firm’s Government Relations team, has earned Certified Lobbyist status by the Ohio Lobbying Association (OLA). Ronnie is one of just 25 OLA members to earn the certification for the 2021-2022 General Assembly.
“Our team is proud of Ronnie for achieving this valuable certification,” said Scott North, partner and chair of Porter Wright’s Government & Regulatory Affairs practice group. “The Certified Lobbyist designation enhances Ronnie’s strong advocacy for clients and knowledge of the legislative arena.”
According to the OLA, a Certified Lobbyist is a government relations professional who possesses in-depth knowledge of legislative, executive and regulatory procedures along with the rules, regulations and ethical standards to which all lobbyists must adhere in Ohio. The OLA began its voluntary Certified Lobbyist program in 2011 to strengthen the aptitude and effectiveness of government relations personnel in lobbying firms, corporations, trade associations and not-for-profit organizations.
