Porter Wright welcomes new litigation attorney to Cincinnati

Porter Wright announced today that Chris Dutton has returned to the firm as of counsel in the Litigation Department in the Cincinnati market.

Dutton brings more than two decades of construction industry and legal experience to his practice, representing clients in construction and commercial business disputes in state and federal courts throughout Ohio and Kentucky, as well as in private arbitrations and mediations.

His unique perspective was shaped early in his career as a project manager and estimator for a leading specialty contractor and his subsequent work as a surety bond claims attorney involved in the investigation and disposition of surety bond claims. His hands-on industry knowledge and litigation experience allows him to provide practical, business-focused counsel to clients facing complex disputes.

"We are delighted to welcome Chris back to the firm," said Sue Cliffel, partner-in-charge of the firm's Cincinnati market. "Chris brings a strong and accomplished background in construction litigation and surety, with valuable experience handling complex legal matters and advocating effectively for clients. His ability to navigate industry-specific issues with deep insider knowledge will have a meaningful impact on our clients and we look forward to the contributions he will make to the firm.”

Chris received his law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, cum laude, and has a B.S. in construction management from University of Cincinnati.
