John McIntyre honored as part of Pittsburgh Director of Year Awards

Porter Wright is proud to announce that John McIntyre, co-partner-in-charge of the firm’s Pittsburgh office, and his fellow board members will be honored by the Three Rivers Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors as the Private Company Board of the Year at the NACD Awards Gala on May 11, 2023.

John is a long-time member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, most recently serving as its Board Chair from 2019 to 2021. The Food Bank Board is being honored in part for its work in driving the organization to “continue to test new concepts, programs and services that enables the Food Bank to strengthen existing and new partnerships, provide better customer service, expand access and availability to food and reignite a focus on organizational excellence.”

For over 40 years, NACD has been setting the standard for responsible board leadership and currently empowers more than 20,000 directors to lead with confidence in the boardroom. Its awards gala celebration will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Fairmont Hotel in Pittsburgh.
