Brad Hughes named President-Elect of the Ohioana Library Association

Porter Wright is proud to announce that partner Brad Hughes has been named president-elect of the Board of Trustees of the Ohioana Library Association.

Ohioana’s governing Board of Trustees includes an honorary chair (the First Lady of Ohio, Fran DeWine), four elected positions, four appointed by the Governor of Ohio, and more than a dozen other members from across Ohio. The Board guides the organization and supports its annual events, including the Ohio Book Awards. As president, Brad will assist the organization’s new executive director, Dr. Kimberlee Kiehl, with strategic planning and fiscal issues, as well as lead the Board’s quarterly meetings.

The Ohioana Library Association works to promote, preserve and increase awareness of Ohio literature, reaching over half a million people worldwide. Ohio has long been one of America’s great literary centers, and the state continues to produce an impressive body of written works and talented authors.
