Porter Wright welcomes estate planning attorney John Garner in Naples
Porter Wright is proud to announce that attorney John Garner has joined its estate planning team in Naples, Fla. John brings more than 35 years of experience working with clients in the areas of tax, estate planning and personal wealth, and probate and trust litigation.
“John brings incredible legal experience, from estate planning to transactional matters, and we could not be more happy to add him to our growing team,” shared Ted Walters, partner-in-charge of Porter Wright’s Naples office.
At Porter Wright, John will help clients in planning to maximize the transfer of family wealth through the use of life insurance trusts, charitable trusts, private foundations, family limited partnerships and generation skipping transfer trusts. He also will help counsel the special needs of retired individuals, including probate and trust administration.
John is a member of The Florida Bar, the Collier County Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Naples where he served as treasurer and continues to serve as a board member. He also is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Indiana State Bar Association. John received his undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University, his law degree from University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and his LL.M. in Taxation from University of Florida.
