Overview

Lana is an intellectual property attorney with experience in U.S. patent prosecution, litigation and transactional matters. Her practice encompasses a wide range of technologies, including image processing, machine learning, LiDAR-based navigation systems, electrical and mechanical devices and computer software.

With a strong background in both utility and design patent drafting and prosecution, Lana regularly prepares and prosecutes patent applications for electrical and mechanical devices. She also has experience in preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions, particularly for electrical and mechanical technologies and telecommunications devices.

In addition to prosecution work, Lana provides strategic support in patent litigation matters, including performing invalidity analyses, drafting mediation documents, settlement discussion documents and discovery. Lana is also experienced in drafting intellectual property licenses and conducting IP due diligence in the context of asset purchases.
