Overview

Kevin builds on his experience as an assistant attorney general in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to represent clients in complex environmental matters.

As an assistant attorney general, he handled both civil and criminal environmental enforcement cases. He litigated a wide range of regulatory compliance cases to completion on behalf of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, spanning Ohio’s oil & gas laws, dam safety regulations and wildlife laws. He brings experience in legal research, discovery processes, and motion practice, including handling complex motions for summary judgment and conducting civil penalty hearings.

In the Ohio Attorney General Environmental Enforcement Section: Criminal Prosecution Unit, Kevin prosecuted environmental crime cases from grand jury to sentencing across the state and has collaborated closely with agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) to support thorough environmental crime investigations.

Kevin also brings experience as an assistant state attorney at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office in Florida, where he supervised all assistant state attorneys in the county court division and oversaw all Florida fish and wildlife cases in county court.
