Overview
Josh’s practice focuses on complex litigation matters, with an emphasis on contract, insurance and antitrust cases. He also has experience representing clients in reinsurance disputes and in conducting internal corporate investigations. Josh’s practice spans both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings.
Before joining the firm, Josh clerked for the Honorable Stephen R. Clark in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Josh worked closely with the judge to resolve cases before the court, managing the judge’s civil case load and working with parties to handle procedural issues arising during litigation. Josh drafted a multitude of orders for the judge’s civil cases, addressing issues in federal subject-matter jurisdiction, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and statutory and contract interpretation. This experience provides Josh with a unique perspective to share with his clients.
While in law school, Josh served as an articles editor on the Northwestern Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and was a competitor for Northwestern’s Moot Court Society.
