Helen Fite joins Porter Wright’s Litigation Department in Columbus
Porter Wright welcomes Helen Fite to the firm as an associate in the Litigation Department.
She has a strong foundation in litigation and regulatory law gained through hands-on experience in both judicial and private settings. She previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edmund A. Sargus, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, where she assisted in drafting opinions and orders, conducted in-depth legal research and prepared the Judge for a wide range of civil and criminal proceedings.
Before her clerkship, Helen was an associate, where she drafted pleadings and dispositive motions in state and federal courts, managed written discovery and assisted clients facing federal, state and regulatory investigations.
Helen earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, her M.PA. from The Ohio State University John Glenn School of Public Affairs and her B.A. from Furman University, summa cum laude.
