Overview

Garrett focuses his practice in two aspects of litigation – eminent domain and e-discovery. He represents public utilities in the full range of eminent domain and appropriation matters, including seeking easements, conducting land owner negotiations, drafting petitions and pleading to condemn properties, and extending through eminent domain litigation and appeals.

Garrett’s e-discovery background includes managing document review and production from the outside vendor perspective. This experience allows him to advise clients on a wide range of discovery options to fit their unique needs.

During law school, Garrett worked with the Columbus City Attorney's Office in the prosecutor's intake department, where he assisted in determining whether to bring criminal charges. Garrett also served as an extern with Judge Edmund A. Sargus of the Southern District of Ohio.
