Overview
Diana counsels clients on a wide range of corporate and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, corporate governance and risk management. She represents clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology, aviation, health care, utilities and energy, agriculture and marketing.
Her private company merger and acquisition experience is on both buy and sell side, with transaction values ranging from $3 million up to $600 million. She also has experience leading due diligence efforts in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, helping foreign buyers, sellers and their advisors navigate the U.S. legal system and reach their business goals.
She also offers comprehensive counsel on a wide spectrum of general corporate matters, including entity formation and governance, and negotiating complex commercial arrangements. She frequently reviews and negotiates technology agreements and advises clients on data collection and licensing issues. Additionally, Diana has experience navigating the growing and complex U.S state data protection regime.
Diana is passionate about assisting international clients to expand their business in the U.S. She also advises U.S. companies that conduct business in China or transact business with Chinese companies.
Diana also has experience working with clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation and appeal. Prior to joining Porter Wright, Diana served as a judicial staff attorney at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, where she gained unique insights into judicial decision-making and advocacy before the courts.
Before coming to the United States, Diana earned her Bachelor of Law Degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and obtained extensive knowledge of Chinese law.
