Overview
Bree is an attorney with experience in civil litigation and commercial litigation matters. Previously serving as assistant attorney general for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Bree represented the state of Ohio in property acquisition litigation and matters related to the construction and improvement of Ohio’s public highways and roads. In this role, she managed all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediation, motion practice, trial preparation, and court proceedings and hearings across all 88 counties of Ohio.
Her experience includes successfully drafting and arguing a motion to dismiss that was affirmed on appeal, resulting in a complete dismissal of liability for the client. Her practice extends to legal research, strategic analysis of commercial law issues, client counseling and billing review to promote accuracy and efficiency.
In addition, Bree completed a legal externship focused on corporate and regulatory matters, where she collaborated with both in-house and outside counsel on various legal matters, including legal research of the acquisition of PBMs, use of AI and e-discovery skills, and contract and business dispute analysis.
