Kirby appointed chair of Bankruptcy, Workout & Creditors' Rights Practice Group

Porter Wright is pleased to congratulate partner Tami Kirby for being named chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Workout & Creditors' Rights Practice Group.

Kirby has experience in creditors’ rights, real estate, commercial transactions and general corporate law.  Kirby assists a wide range of clients with their legal rights and remedies in state and federal courts. While working out of Porter Wright’s Dayton office, she represents a diverse client base, advising them in all aspects of creditors’ rights under the Uniform Commercial Code, Bankruptcy Code and state law.

Kirby has been repeatedly honored for her work in real state including being named to Dayton Business Journal’s Who's Who in Real Estate in 2018 and 2019, and recognized annually by Ohio Super Lawyers®.

Kirby is extremely involved in the Dayton community as an officer and member of the Board of Trustees for We Care Arts, Inc., a member of the Advisory Board for Project READ, and a member of the Executive Committee for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. She has also held leadership positions with the Dayton Fund for Home Rehabilitation.

Kirby earned her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Cincinnati.
