Overview
Adam is a federal lobbyist and regulatory strategist who advises companies on navigating complex, high-stakes matters before Congress, the White House and federal agencies. With more than 25 years of experience in government, law and business, he helps clients protect market access, shape legislative outcomes and coordinate integrated legal–government affairs strategies.
Adam represents domestic and international companies across technology, defense, environmental services, advanced manufacturing, healthcare and critical infrastructure sectors. His practice focuses on congressional advocacy, national security and trade policy, appropriations and authorization legislation, and multi-agency regulatory engagement, often at the intersections of political risk, reputational exposure and business continuity.
In 2025, Adam guided clients through high-profile legislative and regulatory challenges, including helping the world’s largest drone company maintain U.S. market access amid significant congressional scrutiny. He has advised on complex matters such as national security, trade, workforce modernization and compliance under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. Adam’s recent work also includes supporting market entry for international companies, advancing AI-driven drug discovery initiatives and coordinating defense and technology coalitions.
Before joining Porter Wright, Adam led a national outreach and engagement campaign for Warner Bros. Discovery in its efforts to protect free and independent media across Poland. He also managed international affairs and global business development for Lennar, America’s largest home builder, in Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and among the Indian diaspora.
Adam brings deep experience from the federal executive branch of government. As an appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration in Washington, D.C., he rose to Chief of Staff and played a key leadership role in the President’s National Export Initiative, aimed at doubling exports and driving job growth during the Great Recession.
He helped lead global trade missions, strengthened critical trade promotion programs and contributed to the development of SelectUSA, America’s front door for foreign direct investment. A significant part of his work involved elevating ITA’s role as Executive Secretariat of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee, coordinating 19 federal agencies to advance U.S. trade and create jobs.
Beyond client advocacy, Adam plays an active role in building bipartisan relationships on Capitol Hill. In 2025, he joined the New Democratic Action Fund, expanding his engagement with more than 100 moderate Democratic Members of Congress and strengthening ties with policymakers and peer government affairs professionals across Fortune 500 companies and emerging defense and technology firms.
Adam is a Florida-licensed attorney and brings a practical, business-oriented approach to federal advocacy, where he aligns legal risk management, legislative strategy and commercial objectives to deliver durable results for clients operating in Washington’s most challenging environments.
