Porter Wright is proud to congratulate partner Walter Reynolds for receiving the Ohio State Bar Foundation’s (OSBF) Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award.

Walter received the honor, which is given to an attorney who has cultivated diversity, equality and inclusion in the legal system, at the OSBF’s All Rise Annual Celebration on Oct. 24, 2025.

Walter is a long-time advocate for advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and supporting future generations of attorneys. When he became the first African American president of the Dayton Bar Association in 1996, he launched a diversity committee and programming that continues today. He has mentored dozens of African American attorneys during his career.

“Walter has been a pioneer in advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession,” said Bob Tannous, managing partner of Porter Wright. “His leadership and dedication have created lasting change in our profession and our communities, and we are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition of his work.”
