Overview

Todd brings a rare, invaluable blend of public and private experience at the nexus of AI and technology policy, strategic communications, U.S. and international government affairs. He has more than 25 years split evenly between the epicenter of artificial intelligence and emerging technology companies in Silicon Valley and high-level service in three presidential administrations in Washington, D.C.

His extensive in-house government affairs, policy and strategic communications leadership roles in high-growth Silicon Valley AI and emerging technology companies stretches back to 2005 and allows him a wealth of experience in the realm of AI policy and communications today.

Todd’s experience spans many years of international law, policy and stakeholder engagement work with international AI policy think tanks, international governmental organizations and multilateral gatherings of global leaders in government and technology.

He has fortified his private sector experience with service in complementary high-level roles in national political campaigns, the Clinton, Obama and Biden administrations, and key federal government agencies. He has served as a White House Press Advance Lead at numerous domestic and overseas trips for President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden (and former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore), as President Barack Obama’s Chief Communications Officer at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and as an international trade policy attorney for the United States Department of Commerce.
