Sandy is a member of the firm’s litigation group where she concentrates her practice on all aspects of commercial matters, including eminent domain and e-discovery, and matters in state and federal court.
Sandy counsels clients directly on eminent domain matters and negotiates with landowners and opposing counsel. She also contributed to an Ohio Supreme Court case regarding Ohio eminent domain law. Sandy’s e-discovery counsel includes significant document review and the management of a client’s document review project including supervision of the document review company. In addition, she has drafted a variety of pleadings and motions for state and federal court matters.
Before joining Porter Wright, Sandy served as a summer clerk in the firm’s Columbus office. She also served as a legal extern for The Ohio State University Wexner Center Compliance Office where she developed a new audit report format and analyzed Ohio law and HIPAA law to update the center’s compliance plan.
While in law school, Sandy was the staff editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.
