Porter Wright continues Tampa office expansion with addition of new corporate partner

In keeping with its plans to expand its Tampa office business capabilities, Porter Wright has added Matt DePasquale as a partner in the Corporate Department. Matt focuses his practice on business transactions, contracts, and commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation.

“We are excited to add such a talented corporate partner to our Tampa team,” said Larry Ingram, partner-in-charge of the Tampa office. “Matt’s addition is a great way to celebrate our two-year anniversary in this market. We look forward to further additions as we continue to expand our business practice to better serve our Tampa area clients.”

On the transactional side, Matt has experience implementing corporate strategy and negotiating, drafting and revising multi-million-dollar asset purchase agreements, leases, purchase and sale agreements, mortgages, notes, employment contracts, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and non-disclosure agreements. He also handles intellectual property disputes, drafts terms and conditions, waivers and the development of software as a service (SaaS) from the legal perspective.

Matt holds a law degree from Rutgers School of Law and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Central Florida.
