Data Breach for Employers
Data theft is a rapidly expanding phenomenon. Cybercriminals are employing more and more inventive techniques to obtain and use stolen data. In this environment, companies should take all precautions possible to avoid the destructive consequences which can result from data theft or loss. Because a company's own employees, whether intentionally or not, create one of the biggest risks of data leakage and loss, management of human resources is critical to limiting a company's risk exposure. In addition, organizations' human resources records themselves contain extensive personal information regarding their workforce that require protection. We will offer best practices for employers to address these potential issues early, including how to properly train employees to protect sensitive data.
