Yang selected to participate in prestigious leadership program

Porter Wright is pleased to congratulate attorney Sunny Yang for being among a small number of attorneys nationwide selected to participate in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) Leadership Advancement Program.

NAPABA’s Leadership Advancement Program is a one-year program aimed at building leadership skills and forging relationships with peers. The organization selects just 24 attorneys nationwide for this program per year; 12 law firm attorneys and 12 in-house counsel. Sunny has been involved with NAPABA for several years and served on the Board of Directors and Officer from the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA), an affiliate and a founding member of NAPABA.

“It’s not a surprise to any of us who work with Sunny that she was one of a very select few to receive this prestigious opportunity,” said Tim Gallagher, partner-in-charge of the Pittsburgh office of Porter Wright. “Sunny demonstrates incredible skill and leadership and she will surely continue to flourish under this program.”

Sunny practices out of the firm’s Pittsburgh office and focuses her practice on international business matters and trade. She is admitted to practice in both the U.S. and China.
