Porter Wright welcomes Gary Bridgens as an associate in the Litigation Department. He focuses his practice on litigation and regulatory matters, advising independent power producers and transmission developers, public utilities, manufacturers and other regulated entities navigating complex legal and compliance matters. He regularly represents clients before federal and state authorities, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Department of Energy (DOE), state public service commissions and federal courts handling appeals from administrative agency proceedings.
Gary also conducts regulatory due diligence for high-value transactions, helping clients identify and assess potential risks across a range of jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks. His work supports strategic decision-making and helps clients maintain compliance in highly regulated industries.
Gary holds a law degree from The Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University.
