Porter Wright signs on to the Columbus Community Cup
Porter Wright is proud to announce it has formed a team to participate in the 2nd Annual Columbus Community Cup, presented by The Columbus Foundation, at Otterbein University on Saturday, Sept. 28. The event is a one-day challenge in which teams compete in various events, including basketball, tug of war, dodgeball, a 5k run and a Wiffle ball home run derby.
The Porter Wright team is led by attorney Luke Fedlam, who is chair of the firm’s Sports Law Practice. He also serves on the Board of Commissioners of the Greater Columbus Sports Commission.
“Porter Wright has a long history of community involvement in Columbus and we are so proud to take part in this event,” said Fedlam. “Some friendly competition, with a number of companies and organizations from across Central Ohio, is a great way to celebrate Columbus and help local charitable organizations.”
The Community Cup was created by the Sports Commission to promote friendly competition, team camaraderie, and charitable giving. Teams can give back to the community by gathering food for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, donating sports equipment to the YMCA of Central Ohio or contributing financially to The Columbus Foundation.
