Porter Wright announces Sports Law Practice with addition of attorney Luke Fedlam
Fedlam brings over a decade of experience working with professional athletes and a well-rounded approach to the challenges they face at any phase of their career. Together with Porter Wright, Fedlam will provide the foundation, resources and experience to help deliver the high quality, independent and objective advice that professional athletes need.
Porter Wright’s Sports Law Practice Group will provide professional athletes the resources to address issues that they face on a daily basis, such as marketing contract analysis, immigration issues, investment opportunity due diligence, asset protection, brand and mark protection, as well as trust and estates matters.
“This is an exciting time for our firm,” said Bob Tannous, Porter Wright’s Managing Partner. “We recognize that the practice of law is not a one-size-fits-all approach; Luke brings an unparalleled approach and perspective which will uniquely position us to best address and serve our professional athlete clients’ needs.”
Before joining Porter Wright, Fedlam served as a legal manager in the mergers & acquisitions area and Director of Business Development at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, and currently leads the consulting firm, Anomaly Sports Group. He holds his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and holds J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.
