Porter Wright announces Gallagher as partner-in-charge of Pittsburgh office

Porter Wright is proud to announce Tim Gallagher as the partner-in-charge of its Pittsburgh office. Gallagher is a corporate attorney, representing clients in a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, international business transactions, securities, emerging businesses, real estate transactions and other transactional matters.

Gallagher joined the Pittsburgh office of Porter Wright in 2018 after serving as in-house counsel for FFC Capital Corporation, a company specializing in investment management across various asset classes, including hotels and other real estate.

“Tim is a natural fit because of his established business reputation and experience as in-house counsel,” said Bob Tannous, managing partner of Porter Wright. “We saw leadership potential right away and are thrilled to see how he will lead our Pittsburgh office’s growth.”

In the months leading up to his appointment as partner-in-charge, Gallagher had oversight of the firms day-to-day administrative operations, which allows for a seamless transition into additional management responsibilities.

Gallagher received a J.D. from University of Duquesne University School of Law, an M.B.A. from Duquesne University and a B.A. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
