McKay named Legal Lion of the week by Law360

Partner Hugh McKay was named a Legal Lion of the Week by Law360 for his work on a nearly two-decade-old lawsuit against Freddie Mac. The lawsuit claimed that Freddie Mac failed to warn investors about its exposure to the flagging subprime market, but U.S. District Judge Benita Pearson disagreed. She ruled that the lawsuit hadn't identified any material misleading statements made by the company in the lead-up to the housing crisis.
