Margo Brandenburg named Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee for Dress for Success Cincinnati

Porter Wright is proud to announce that associate Margo Brandenburg has been named Chair of Dress for Success Cincinnati’s Governance and Nominating Committee beginning July 9, 2025. In this leadership role, Margo will help shape the organization’s future by guiding board development, governance best practices and strategic leadership recruitment.

Dress for Success Cincinnati has been a vital part of the Greater Cincinnati community since 1999, when it was founded by Mary Ivers to provide women with appropriate clothing for job interviews. Since then, the organization has expanded its mission to offer not only professional attire, but also a network of support and development tools designed to help women achieve economic independence and thrive in both work and life.

As Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee, Margo will play a key role in ensuring the strength and sustainability of an organization that empowers unemployed and under-employed women, many of whom are overcoming significant barriers such as homelessness, addiction, incarceration or abuse. Through thoughtful governance and a deep commitment to the mission, she will support Dress for Success Cincinnati in its continued effort to meet women where they are with dignity, respect and unwavering encouragement for the road ahead.

Dress for Success has grown into a global network of 143 affiliates in 23 countries, having served more than 1.2 million women worldwide. In Cincinnati, the organization remains steadfast in its vision: to create a stable, safe and caring environment for women as they reclaim their lives and shape a brighter future.
